Welcome back, and happy new year! We had a terrific first week of 2023 at Duniway. I am so impressed with your students; they have come back eager and ready to learn. We are so excited for 2023 at Duniway. There are many terrific events on the horizon for winter and spring.

Lunchroom Volunteer Sign-Up: Support our students in the cafeteria in January and/or February. We have opportunities, via Konstella, to help serve and support students during lunch. Benchmark Testing at Duniway: Starting January 9, the PPS testing window for DIBELS (K-2 literacy,) ELA and Math MAP, and ELPA (English Language Proficiency Assessment) is open. We are excited to have students take these informative tests as we look to see how they have progressed and to plan future instruction. If you have questions about these tests, please get in touch with your student's teacher or me.
PTA Meeting/Principal's Coffee: We have our monthly PTA meeting in the library this coming Tuesday evening Jan 10, 2023, at 7:00 pm. Please come and join us in the library. It is a wonderful time to connect, and I am happy to answer any questions. We also will have our monthly principal's coffee on Thursday, Jan 26, at 9:00 am in the cafeteria. Please join us as we build community.
Morning Dropoff: A friendly reminder that students who are dropped off before 8:45 am will not be supervised by staff. Students can access breakfast in the cafeteria from 8:30-8:45 am, but if they are not purchasing breakfast, students should wait outside in their designated pickup areas. Thank you.
