Kindergarten
This week in Kindergarten we explored plants! We had a great time learning about how they grow, pollinate and germinate! We loved learning about seeds, bulbs and spores and how they grow plants differently.
We also talked about conversation and what we do to protect our environment. We can’t wait to use the different things that we learned on Earth Day!
First Grade
This week in Ms. Molnar’s Class we talked about perseverance. We discussed continuing to try even when things get hard. We even finished up our chapter on measurement in math.
In reading Mrs. Beckman’s class read the narrative nonfiction story “Mia Hamm: Winners Never Quit” and learned about syllables. In math we finished our unit on 3D shapes and are getting ready for 2D shapes next week!
Have a great weekend!
Second Grade
Third Grade
This week in 3rd grade, students are starting to learn about different biomes for our upcoming biome day. Each class will decorate their room and we will have rotations to learn facts about each biome.
All of our students enjoyed Orca Day. Classes did rotations to help learn more about our school’s core values.
Don’t forget the Fun Spot permission slip is due Friday, May 3!
Hope to see you all at Astronomy Night!
