Spring Garden School
Weekly Reminder: Week of October 29, 2018
Halloween Reminders: K-6
All students, in grades K-6, will be dismissed at 12:30pm. No lunch will be served on this day. Students have the option to return to their classrooms at 2pm, in costume, for a party.
We ask that parents do not send in food or goodie bags containing food. The class parents and teachers will organize treats, from a pre-approved list of party foods.
At 2:45pm, all elementary schools will have an outdoor parade, weather permitting. Parents, grandparents, and siblings of students are welcome and encouraged to enjoy the parade outdoors, but will not be permitted into the schools and/or classrooms. After the parade has finished, students will report to their classroom for a regular 3:20pm dismissal.
Costumes cannot contain weapons or anything which may be perceived as a weapon. There cannot be any swords, guns, sticks, knives, or grenades as part of a costume or any hand-held props. We will also not permit masks of any kind.
Halloween Reminders: Pre-School
This year all of our preschool programs at Spring Garden School will be celebrating Halloween on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. The following are some guidelines:
October 31, 2018 will be a Single Session Day
AM session will be from 8:55-10:25 am
PM session will be from 10:25-11:55 am

The party will then be followed by a parade on the blacktop located near the cafeteria entrance. Parents can assemble on the blacktop and students will be brought outside. Please note, in the event of rain, the parade will be cancelled.
