May 16, 2016

This video rocks! watch it! Do it!

Yassss! NP3 rocks with the AMAZING support we have within the classroom! Aurora, Maria, Jen and Sharon provide so many opportunities that we wouldn't otherwise have! Let's talk extra support in the classroom!

Consider these thoughts and questions as you watch the video:

  • Holy learning target! How did the teacher in the video add to her target to show how students can meet it?
  • Holy support with multiple educators in the classroom! How did the teacher utilize adult support in her classroom to enhance instruction and student learning?
  • Holy strategies! How are the bookmark questions useful for students determining importance in their reading? How could you use a twist on this strategy for a skill or knowledge you'd like students to learn in your content area?
  • Holy facilitation! How did the type of prompts and wording of the prompts support student discussion?
