Cole Porter is most known for his broadway shows such as Kiss Me, Kate (which won the first Tony Award for Best Musical), Fifty Million Frenchmen, Dubarry Was a Lady, Anything Goes, Can-Can, and Silk Stockings. He is also noted for famous Songs such as "Night and Day", "I Get a Kick Out of You", "Well Did You, Evah!", "I've Got You Under My Skin", "My Heart Belongs to Daddy", and "You're The Top"


In july of 1917 Cole Porter went on to war engulfed europe. He lied to the press about his military involvement saying he was volunteering at the French Foreign League. Instead he was living the best of both worlds a wealthy american in Paris and a War-Hero back home. He went to a lot of elaborate parties which included such as bisexual behavior, Italian Nobility, cross dressing, international musicians and recreation drugs
