American Symbols

This week we learned about U.S. symbols. We read and learned about the Statue of Liberty and Liberty Bell and how they are a symbol of our freedom. The kids also learned about the bald eagle. They loved doing the directed drawing of the Statue of Liberty. I just had to attach a few pictures!

Printable Books

Please be sure that you are saving the printable books that come home in your child's folder. It is very important that they practice with these in order to be more confident readers and move up in levels. Be sure they are pointing to the words as they read them. Thanks!
