Updates for Feb 20-24
Hello First Graders & Families!
WOW! our 100th day of school is this Tuesday, February the 20th! We are 100 days smarter!!!
Thank you to everyone who scheduled a conference with us! We enjoyed meeting with each of you to discuss your child's progress this year!
Please remember that Progress Reports come home this Wednesday, February 22nd. We will be sending assessment data with progress reports and we encourage you to review these with your child. We are so proud of all of our students and their hard work so far this quarter!
Reminders:
*NO SCHOOL Monday, February 20th - Happy President's Day!
*Please remember to sign progress report envelopes and return these ASAP. You may keep all documents inside the envelope for your records!

Hello First Graders & Families!
Please feel free to send in valentines for our class. If you need another list of students in our class, please let us know and we will be happy to send you an extra list! We have 17 students. Mrs. Shore and I will provide a surprise snack this day as well! SHHHH it is a secret!
We are still hosting conferences this week. If you haven't scheduled a time to meet with us yet, please sign up for a time HERE. It is very important that we meet with you to discuss your child's progress and go over middle of year assessment data. We look forward to meeting with you!

Hello First Graders & Families!
It's a busy month in first grade with parent conferences, an early dismissal day, class picture day and a PTO family fun night! Be sure to check out the detailed February dates below for more info!
This week we will send home a list of students in our class for Valentines. We will exchange Valentines on February 14th at the end of the school day. We have 17 students in our class!
We are excited to welcome you to conferences this month! Please use the sign up below to reserve a time to speak with us about your child's progress. We look forward to meeting with you! Home Work Help
Each night, Monday through Thursday, we will have opportunities for you to work with your child on literacy, writing and spelling! These routines should take between 10-20 minutes each night. The nightly recommendations are listed below:
*Read your baggie book.
*Read your spelling words to your parent 2X.
Tuesday Night
*Read your baggie book.
*Write your spelling words 3X each.
Wednesday Night
*Read your baggie book.
*Write 5 sentences. Use a spelling word in each sentence.
Thursday Night
*Read your baggie book.
*Take a practice spelling test. (Tricky words, list words, and 2 sentences)
Friday Night
*Check your folder!
*Have a great weekend!
