Poem
You are to write a poem to show your evidence of one of the character studies.
· You can write 3-4 short poems if it is easier or better.
· Poems are descriptive writing that show meaning through sensory details.
· The poem does not have to rhyme, but should have some type of pattern in rhythm or rhyme.
Essay
· Use your RACE..ACE..ACER format to respond to the prompt. All grading and expectations will be the same as any other Text-Dependent-Analysis questions.
· You may need an extra A.C.E if you use it for the character traits.
Visual Choices
PowerPoint / Google Presentation
· The number of slides will depend on the topic you are completing.
· One slide should be focused on one specific piece of information.
· Pictures can and should be utilized, but appropriately picked and used.
· Animations other than slide transitions are not necessary.
Story Bird
· Create a story to depict each important scene from the novel to show your topic.
· Include exact quotations from the book.
· Provide a paragraph describing how this story bird scene you created relates to the topic.
· Repeat this process for all necessary parts of the topic (one for each trait, one for each conflict, one for each part of the change).
Social Media
· You are creating a fake social media account; you ARE NOT creating an account online.
· You are creating a poster to resemble a social media account.
· The information should describe the topic you are covering. Pictures and text are the graded aspect, not the design of your poster. The writing still must be adequate enough.
Video
· You can create a video to show the information on one of the topics.
· This is left open ended, whatever you can accomplish with a video camera, and go for it.
