MISSTER RMHS- Friday, March 18th
We are excited to announce the return of Misster RMHS, the annual comedy-variety show competition featuring original skits written and performed by RMHS students. This event has been a long tradition at RMHS, but hasn’t been able to happen the last two years because of the pandemic. If you’ve never seen a Misster RMHS event, picture something like Saturday Night Live, but with student-generated acts. A few of the students competing in this year's event put together a promo video which you can watch here. The contestants are all competing for the title of Miss or Mister RMHS, and the winner will be crowned at the end of the event.
You’re invited to join us this Friday, March 18 at 7:00 pm in the RMHS Performing Arts Center for an evening of original skits written and performed by RMHS students. Please note - all are welcome, but the acts were written by high school students and feature their brand of humor, so it might not be appropriate for children under the age of 13.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for $10 online here or at all three lunches this week, or for $15 at the door.
If you have any questions, please reach out to senior class advisers Jess Bailey (jessica.bailey@reading.k12.ma.us) or Michelle Hopkinson (michelle.hopkinson@reading.k12.ma.us).
We hope to see you there!

COMFORT DOG
Allergic reactions are understandably something parents and educators may be concerned about when bringing dogs within the school environment. Dog handlers are required by their organizations to meet cleanliness and grooming requirements minimizing allergic contact.
The comfort dogs will only be put in situations where students voluntarily participate thus avoiding risky contact. If there is an objection or allergy to your child being around a RPD comfort dog, please let us know. Only return this form if there is an issue or an objection with the comfort dog.
RMLS 5th Annual Art Contest
The Reading Municipal Light Department (RMLD) is excited to kick off its 5th annual art contest for high school students in Reading, North Reading, Wilmington, and Lynnfield Center. The RMLD has been distributing electricity to the residents and businesses in these communities for over 125 years.
The contest is an opportunity for participating students to receive community service hours and a chance to be recognized for their artwork. Up to five winners will be selected, and each will receive a gift card for qualified school or art supplies. One or more of the winning submissions will be featured on the cover of RMLD’s 2021 Annual Report.
The theme of this year’s contest is VERSATILITY. Any two dimensional art medium will be accepted. Artwork is due by Friday, March 25th. More info is available here: https://bit.ly/rmldhsart22.
