Parent Sessions
Navasota ISD will hold a three-day, conference-style symposium for faculty, staff, and parents Aug. 19-21 at Navasota High School. The district has designed a series of sessions specifically for parents during the three-day event with topics to include:

Personal Graduation Plans for your child
There is no registration necessary. All sessions will take place at Navasota High School. Just show up at the time of the sessions you would like to attend and check-in at the front desk.

Parents and guardians are invited to share their thoughts on how the district and Navasota schools can help. How can we do a better job of helping in the community and connecting and learning with life for our students. In this session we can help to answer questions regarding our schools and programs. Come by and let's start connecting to help our community.
3:00 pm - Rachel's Challenge Holly Witherwax
Rachel's Challenge was brought to your child's school last year as an initiative to improve the culture on the school's campus. Teachers and administrators are united in their desire to see Rachel's Challenge have a positive impact for your student by creating a kinder, more compassionate culture on their campus. Come find out more about this program and what you as a parent can do to enforce this culture.

The goal of the program is to ensure that all students, including economically disadvantaged students, have dedicated access to a personal technology device. Even if you child has never missed a day of school, absences have impacted his or her academic progress - find out how in this session.

Topics such as possible career and education paths, as well as the types of electives that will most benefit your child will be explored. The PGP we create will remain in the student's record/file and can be updated at any time through the student's enrollment in Navasota ISD.
