Important Info
The interior doors will now lock shortly after block 1 begins. Please check in at the front office when you arrive.
****Work Experience students - reminder to get all your paperwork into Mr Wandler. You can not start counting your hours until this step occurs****
-Notre Dame is a hat free facility
-no vaping, tobacco or alcohol is permitted anywhere on school property
-be sure to sign up for MyPass. You will need it to get any access to transcripts.
-all Gr. 12 students should have connected with Ms. Halter for an appointment.
-Gr. 12 students need to keep checking the Grad tab on NDHS website, for updates.
-all students are required to attend NDD and are to stay at the school during NDHS
either in sessions or completing school work.
-be sure to get involved in school activities. The year is already half over!

Track and Field practices / workouts - Tuesday / Thursday 3:45 - 5:15pm
Handball- RDCRS Invitational starts Friday! Check the website for full game times and location.
Go Girl
Go Girls Volunteers needed!! Spend the day May 16th with hundreds of girls!! RDC’s Be Fit for Life Centre is once again encouraging young girls to keep moving. The 15th annual Go Girl event promotes health, confidence, and physical activity to Grade 5 girls in Red Deer’s public and Catholic school systems. ND student volunteers are needed to help lead and assist with activities throughout the day. Students will need to get signed permission from their teachers that they can miss classes that day.

Grad 2018
Please submit your write ups to Mrs Elphick in room 2804 or in the box during your grad photo's. This write up will be read as you walk across the stage as well as be under your grad photo in the yearbook. Any questions see Mrs Elphick or Mrs Nivens.
Career Centre
The Canadian Armed Forces will be at Notre Dame to talk about the army reserve offer - full time summer employment program, as well as other career opportunities with the CAF in the Learning Commons. Sign up for the NDHS info session is required. Career Expo
CAREERexpo is Central Alberta’s largest student-focused career event, representing over 50 career paths. All grade 11 students will be attending this event, with buses departing the school at 8:55 am and returning to Notre Dame at 11:15 am. Grade 11s will attend CAREERexpo with their first block 20-level class. All Grade 11 students in a 10-level or 30-level first block class will attend CAREERexpo with Mr. Sandulak - please meet Mr. Sandulak at the main entrance of the school at 8:50 am sharp. Any grade 10 or 12 students in a first block 20-level class can work in the Learning Commons during this time. Please contact Ms. Halter (jill.halter@rdcrs.ca) if you have any questions.

ND Reading Program
The Notre Dame Reading Program (NDRP) is an online community of readers with the goal to eliminate reading loss and continue to immerse ourselves in great stories through the semester. NDRP is hosted on Google Classroom. When you finish a book, post the title, author and a short review of your book.
