Everyone Belongs!

It all started with an awareness grant that was acquired this winter. High School Students along with Student Assistant Professional, Luke Kisena made a plan to create the "Everyone Belongs" mural to promote behavioral Health and wellbeing. Students designed the mural and during the holiday weekend worked to make it come to life. The purpose of this mural is to impact the built environment, encourage dialogue, build inclusivity, and normalize mental health. The mural is slated to be completed in June.

Our Little Words

This January Helen Haller 5th grade teacher, Robin Forrest took her class on a word journey. Instead of having the class make New Year's resolutions, Mrs. Forrest helped her students find words that resonated with each of them and assembled a bulletin board "Our Little Words". Each student that picked out a word also gave a reason for the their word choice.

If you had to pick a word, what would that word be?
