Galway Jr/Sr High December Newsletter

Season's Greetings from the Jr/Sr High School

December is here and the holidays are just around the corner! This is a great time to remind children that the true gift of the holiday season is giving and caring for others. The Galway Student Senate is sponsoring a number of events to encourage our students to get involved and give back to others, a few of these events include the Food Drive for the Galway Food Pantry (December 1st-12th) and Penny Wars to support the "Power to Push" (December 8th-December 18th). The Student Senate is also sponsoring Spirit Week (December 15-December 19th).

Enjoy The Holiday Season and Best Wishes for a Wonderful 2015!

Texting During School Hours

A quick reminder that student cell phone usage is not permitted in school between the hours of 7:55 and 2:22. With telephones available in each teacher's classroom and a student phone available in the Jr/Sr High School Office, students are able to contact parents, guardians, and employers when required. Parents and guardians, please contact the school, 882-1033, ext 3200 to relay important messages to your child. We certainly understand the convenience of texting, but it does cause disruption when students are sending and receiving text messages during school. Thank you in advance for your support with this.
