Congratulations to last week’s Paws for PRIDE winners: Tara Durkin, Michael Fortunato, Wyatt Martin, Jonathan Infantino, Charley Mahar, Dylan Schwartz, and Natalee Stuckert.

These students were chosen at random to be recognized and celebrated for demonstrating one of our five character traits - Pride, Respect, Individual Responsibility, Determination & Empathy. Thank you to all of the Titus families for your support of our Paws for PRIDE program.

End of Year Survey. . .

As the year begins to wind down, I wanted to reach out to the Titus families and ask you for feedback regarding Titus Elementary School and the job I do as the principal. With the help of several teachers, we created a survey to get your input regarding aspects of Titus I value as a principal - School Climate, Communication, and Community Involvement. I value your thoughts and your feedback . . . for I could not do this job without you.

Sometime before June 30th, I ask that you take a few minutes and complete this short survey. Simply click on the banner below, and thank you for a great year!

Annual Summer Library Program. . .

Thanks to the overwhelming turn out from Titus families, the Lafferty Test Drive was a huge success and will be used to once again fund our summer library program. The library will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on select Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in July and August. Specific information can be found using the links below:

In addition, each student is encouraged to participate in our summer reading challenge. The challenge contract can be found here. Once the contract is returned to school, a book log will be sent home to monitor goals all summer. Completed book logs are due Friday, September 2nd. Students who meet their challenge will be invited to attend a celebration at the start of the school year. For any additional information and or questions please reach out to Ms. Wallace, Miss Brennan, or Mrs. Byrne.

School Supply Kits Have Arrived!!!

Please stop by the rotunda beginning Monday, June 13th to pick up your child’s school supplies for next year. They are stored in a cardboard “briefcase” for easy transporting. The kits will be sorted by grade level and you will pick up your child(ren)’s kits by going to the next school year grade level section. A master checklist will be in the office for you to check off your child(ren)’s name(s) after you pick up the kit(s).

Any questions may be directed to Robin London.

Volunteer Needed . . .

Central Bucks will once again be participating in a Kids Voting initiative for the Presidential election in November. That means that at each polling place in the district there will be a place for kids to vote for a presidential candidate when their parents go to vote. Mr. Berger, supervisor of social studies for Central Bucks School District, is asking that each school find one parent who is willing to be the coordinator for this initiative. What does the job require?
  • You will need to attend monthly meetings starting at the end of summer and leading up to the November election (2-3 meetings?).
  • You will coordinate getting parent volunteers to man the table at the polling place for a few hours (after school) on election day.

We are looking to have the name of the parent by the end of the school year. If interested, please email Mrs. Schorpp.

Attention 5th Grade Parents. . .

Traditionally at Titus, the parents of the 5th grade class volunteer their time and help to organize dessert/beverage donations for the promotion reception for the 6th grade class and their families. Promotion is to be held the evening of Tuesday, June 14th at 7:00 PM.

If you are interested in signing up to help and/or to donate desserts or beverages for the evening, please click here. If you have any questions, please e-mail Mrs. Leigh-Anne Sullivan.

Box Tops - What a Year!!!

Thank you to everyone who sent in box tops last month. We had a nice turnout for May, we collected 3,760 box tops! A big Congratulations to Mrs. Gillen's kindergarten class who sent in the most with a total of 450 box tops! There will be an extra special morning announcement in the upcoming days to celebrate the class who sent in the most box tops over the entire school year. This class will receive a Rita's Water Ice party as a special thank you.

Please continue to collect box tops throughout the summer. Then be sure to send them in as soon as school starts in the fall. The funds we receive from box tops helps our school immensely. Your help in collecting them is greatly appreciated!
