Principal's Update

SBE Parents and Guardians-

December is here! Seems like November flew by...and here we are standing on the doorstep of the Winter Break!

As we move through the month, I wanted to make sure that I pointed out a few important calendar dates. First of all, please note that we will have our Annual "Art in the Dark" event on Thursday, December 12th, 6-7pm. Our TK-3rd grade students will have art displayed in the hallways for parents to enjoy. We will have Hot Cocoa and I have also heard that Santa Claus may be paying a visit! Please also note that all next week, December 9th - December 13th is the Fall Book Fair!

Right before our Art in the Dark event, we will have a "Construction Meeting" for all parents and community members to get the most recent update on where we are with the new Measure I Construction plan. This will be held from 5pm-6m on the same night, Thursday December 12th.

We hope to see you at each of these events on the 12th!

Please also make note of the full slate of December events below:

December 9th--Start of Fall Book Fair

December 11th--PTO Meeting, 6pm

December 12th--Parent Meeting on Construction, 5pm

December 12th--Art in the Dark, 6pm

December 14th--Saturday School

Adopt a Family for Christmas!

Join us in brightening the holidays for our Shell Beach families. For the 6th year in a row, we are sponsoring families for the holidays.

Starting December 6th, stop by the office, take an ornament, shop, wrap, and bring back to the office no later than Wednesday, December 18th.

Your donations are completely anonymous. Thank you in advance for bringing a little joy to our families.
