Absences During Final Exams

With the end of the first semester fast approaching, many of you have already begun to make plans for Winter Break. December 15-18, the 7th & 8th graders will be taking semester exams and 6th graders will take a math test. Please consider this as you make travel arrangements. Keep in mind that it is important for students to be at school during exam week.

Note that to minimize disruptions during exams, we will NOT release students during an exam time. For example, if the exam is from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., no students will be released during that time.

If you know that your child will be out during this time, please FIRST contact your child's counselor. Also, have your child pick up an Absence Request Form from the Front office and submit it two weeks prior to the expected absence to Ms. Johnson in the front office. The form can also be downloaded from .

Robinson parents, please be aware that due to an inadvertent scheduling conflict, we are moving the date of Journey to Jag Country to Thursday, January 7. We want to make sure that all Robinson students and parents are able to attend. Times will remain the same 6:45 to 8:00. Thank you for your understanding and more details about the night can be found below.

Calling the PWSH Class of 2020! We hope everyone will plan on attending the Journey to Jag Country on Thursday, January 7 from 6:45 to 8:00. Please note this date has changed to Thursday, January 7. We ask all that after parking you make your way to the cafeteria for the meeting. Please be aware there are other groups that will already be on campus. You have not missed anything. We different times for each group to better serve everyone. This is an opportunity for parents and students to learn all about what you have to look forward to in high school. During this evening, parents and students will have a meeting to learn how to better help their student transition to high school. Parents and students will also be able to get familiar with the campus. While walking around the campus, you will be able to visit with curricular class teachers, student groups and organizations, purchase spirit wear, and visit with the different booster clubs and PTSA. Jasper Jazz in Action

Jasper Jazz in action: This Saturday watch the Jasper Jazz televised performance on channel 8 and see them live at the Plano Christmas Parade!

Pour a steaming cup of coffee or hot chocolate, turn on the TV and prepare to be dazzled as your watch the televised performance of the award-winning Jasper Jazz as they kick off the Dallas Children’s Health℠ Holiday Parade. The Jazz were specially selected to perform in the opening dance number of the parade so watch for them in Santa costumes at the beginning of the telecast. The parade will be broadcast on WFAA-TV Channel 8 at 10 a.m. this Saturday, Dec. 12 so set your DVR if you can’t catch it that morning. Now in its 28th year, the annual Dallas Children’s Health℠ Holiday Parade marched through the streets of Downtown Dallas last Saturday to ring in the holiday season. And in the spirit of giving back, the Jasper Jazz donated $1,330 to Children’s Health in support of making life better for children.

You can also see the Jasper Jazz live at the Plano Christmas Parade. The parade starts at 9 a.m. this Saturday, Dec. 12 at 15th Street and Independence Pkwy. and ends at Plano Senior High. The Jazz will be the fourth drill team in the lineup. Enjoy the holiday festivities and support this amazing drill team. Go Jazz!
