Verbal Irony
By: Rylee Taylor
Info
Verbal Irony: When someone says something but, means something else or the opposite.
Sarcasm: When someone says something, meaning something else but, in an annoyed or resentment way.
So sarcasm is always verbal irony but, verbal irony is not always sarcasm.
"I wanna be friends with a creeper, you know the green monsters that blow up."
"I love essays, there so fun!"
" Have you heard of Undertale, I love the scary evil flower that tries to kill everyone!"
