The Impact of Design on Learning
Environment is the "Third Teacher" for student learning, and is more important than we think. It is our responsibility to provide the right modern learning environment for students to thrive and collaborate. Thoughtful design supports students by providing the tools and space to succeed in a competitive future that requires not just (raw) knowledge, but creative problem solving.

Where's the Data?
Check out the Hillbrook School in northern California. They are similar to Mayfield in that they are a K-8 school with approximately 350 students. They have an i-Lab that supports current trends in brain-based and four C's education.
They are also one of the few schools that shares the data about how the student learning has improved over time with its use.
