A Message From the Principal

Hello BC Families,

I hope you all had a wonderful break. We are officially one third of the way through the school year, with the trimester ending last week. Thank you for all of your support. Report cards are scheduled to be mailed out next week, so be on the look out for them in your mailboxes. They will also be available though ParentVue. Looking forward to an amazing December.

Make it a great week!

Mrs. Sideris

Butler Creek Spirit Days!!

This Wednesday, December 2nd is a Spirit Day. We know that Distance Learning has had a huge impact on our sense of community at Butler Creek. Our staff is working together to increase our engagement with students and build a deeper sense of community by planning some school-wide events, working to help mutually support the PTA as they support the school, and to boost our presence on social media. To this end, we are going to reintroduce school spirit days with a twist: Since we are unable to hold them with our Brilliant Bobcat Assemblies this year, we are implementing them as part of our pick up/drop off days.

This Wednesday will be silly and festive hat day! Wear your best, fanciest, silliest, most festive hat to school as you drive through the packet pick up line. We will be sure to celebrate by taking a picture of you! We can't wait to see what you come up with!

Student Packet and Materials Distributions

Wednesday, Dec. 2nd 2020 at 1-3pm

2789 Southwest Butler Road

Gresham, OR

This Wednesday we will be distributing student work packets and materials. We will have 30 minute pick up windows for each grade level. Please arrive during your scheduled time if possible. If you have multiple students in different grade levels you may pick up all materials at the same time. In order to reduce contact please write your students name, grade level and teacher on a piece of paper and place on your dashboard or hold up in the window. You will be directed to your pick up area where materials will be placed in either your trunk or handed through the window. If you cannot make it to the distribution please contact your teacher or the main office. It is very important that your student receive all of their learning materials. Our next distribution will be in January.
