Virginia ABC Summer Internships
Virginia ABC is seeking Summer Interns to participate in a 10 week, paid internship program. This program is open to students of all majors and will help them gain real world skills in management, finance, budgeting, communication, public relations, marketing, enforcement, human resources, etc. Through work in various divisions within the agency, summer interns will develop essential leadership skills employers and graduate schools are looking for, as well as, foster interest in work at ABC which can potentially strengthen our future workforce. Participation in this internship program will not lead to permanent employment; however, interns will receive broad exposure to the organization, be challenged professionally and academically, and gain valuable networking contacts.
Hourly rate: $14.00, limited to 29 hours per week
Benefits: No Benefits
Location: Richmond, VA
Duration: June 5, 2017-August 11, 2017

Housing Community Engagement Fellow - Office of Community Engagement and Housing Partnerships, Inc.
The OCE is partnering with local nonprofit Housing Partnerships, Inc. to host a Community Engagement Fellow focused on housing and volunteer recruitment and training. We are excited about this new partnership and opportunity for a recent graduate to make a direct impact on a top-priority issue in our community.
The Housing Fellow will maximize the College of William & Mary’s human resources and commitment to service to better the housing conditions of those living in poverty in the larger community of Greater Williamsburg. The Fellow will receive a taxable stipend of $15,000 and the opportunity to live free of charge in the Graduate Complex. Read more about the position, and details of the fellowship.

This includes guiding the direction of and management of the research objectives of the organization; innovating new programs in support of the organization’s overall strategy; and supporting Foundation events, program, and fundraising efforts.
