SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB ORDERS: Please make any book orders from magazines sent home with Ms. Pfeifer's class code: NW363

**Orders made through Ms. Pfeifer's class code will give points toward classroom getting more books!! WE LOVE BOOKS!

**The child with the most ordered books by the end of September will get a prize!!!** :)

What We Are Learning This Week:

Reading & Social Studies

Reading: We will be finishing reading Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing and discussing character traits as well as making connections with the story and characters. Students will be making a commercial with Seesaw with a group for Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing classroom project.


Homework for Tales of a 4th grade Nothing project is due FRIDAY, September 23rd!!! Please make sure your child turns in their project Friday morning.


Social Studies: We will be learning about Colonies in North Carolina and conflicts that arose between Natives and Colonists.

Math & Science

Math this week: We will be learning about how to regroup UP to the millions & thousands place with addition and subtraction. We will be learning strategies for solving word problems as well.


**Math test on next Friday, September 30th!!!


This week's homework packet is a great review of topics that the math test will include!* Due Friday!


Science-Moon phase test on Monday!! We will be learning about the forces of motion.
