Turner's Syndrome

Description-
A condition that affects only girls and women. This results from a missing or incomplete sex chromosome. There are three types of turner syndromes. One is called monosomy which is where you have only one X chromosome. Another type is when two X chromosomes are present. The last type is called Y Chromosome Material. There is a very small percent for this type. This is when there are two X chromosomes and one Y chromosome present.
Causes & Complications
- This can happen by an error from the father's sperm or the mother's egg.
- Development problems, Shortness, Infertility, Heart Defects, Learning Disabilities.
- Vision problems, Hearing Loss, Kidney problems, and Immune Disorders.
- Can't become pregnant.
