Where is Your School on This Chart?
What can we learn from schools around the world in regards to the ways they have handled the pandemic: converting to remote learning, even returning to school? Thanks to Scott McLeod for granting permission to use his graphic and share the accompanying article.
As you scroll through Scott's blog, "Dangerously Irrelevant," you will see 20+ ten-minute interviews he has conducted with schools around the world. He is also a part of the "Silver Lining for Learning" program that has become part of my Saturday evening routine; it might be the hardest I have to think all week! In addition to the episodes, there are many provocative blog posts on the site. In regards to the future of education, what good might come from this crisis?
What would you do with $2,500 to improve your classroom?

Superheroes of Science: Classroom Edition - https://bit.ly/SOS_classroom
The Superheroes of Science YouTube Channel has started a new playlist to highlight and recognize the great things that teachers are doing for distance learning. We are hoping these 15-20 minute episodes will help motivate, encourage and inspire all teachers. Look for new episodes every Wednesday. Bonus episodes will be released on Fridays through May 2020!
We want to know about the things teachers are doing to continue teaching their students from home. Please share ideas and tools that you (or a teacher you know) have found helpful by completing this short Google Form: https://bit.ly/SOSsurvey_teacher or tweeting us @PurdueSOS.
Do you (or your students) have a science question?
Superheroes of Science would like to hear from you! Submit your science question for Superheroes of Science by clicking here. You can also tweet us your questions @PurdueSOS. We will find someone to answer your question on a future episode of our podcast. Check us out on your favorite podcast provider and our YouTube Channel: http://bit.ly/SOS_UTube .
