Student Schedules Update

We are continuing to work on finalizing our student schedules! Our admin and student services teams are working hard at making sure all 1080+ students have complete schedules. Please see the message below that we included in last week's bulletin, and thank you for continuing to have patience while we finish this important task!

Student schedules are not finalized and our office staff and guidance counselors are working diligently to get this task completed as soon as possible. Some students and/or parents might be able to see all or part of their schedule listed in PowerSchool, or they may not see any classes listed at all. For those that can see all or part of their schedule, please know that changes could still be made as we work to assign classes to our new enrollments. If PowerSchool shows no classes listed, please know that this is an error and only reflects that schedules have not been finalized by our staff. When schedules have been completed, families will receive email communication letting them know they are available to view in PowerSchool. We hope to have student schedules completed by mid-late August.

Forest Park Athletics and Activities

Forest Park is excited to offer a variety of athletic and activity opportunities for our students. We highly encourage all students to consider joining a sport or club (or several!) to expand their skills, meet other students and most of all have fun!

With Mr. Stephans recently accepting his new role as an associate principal at Forest Park, we are proud to introduce our new Athletic Coordinator, Mrs. Karisa Stiglitz! Karisa has been a valued teacher and an active advisor and coach for a variety of groups at Forest Park for several years. Karisa is excited to take on this new leadership role where she can offer opportunities for Forest Park students to grow and connect through participation in sports and clubs. If you have any questions regarding our athletics and activities, feel free to email Mrs. Stiglitz at karisa.stiglitz@franklin.k12.wi.us.

Registration for ATHLETICS is online and will open on Monday 8/15. If your student is interested in joining one of our athletic teams, parents must upload a current/valid physical form when registering the student online. THIS form must be completed and signed by both the doctor that completed the student's most recent physical exam as well as by the parent. Any student that does not have a current/valid physical form uploaded with their registration will not be able to participate in athletics at Forest Park Middle School. We do not accept paper copies of the physical form in the office; physical forms must be uploaded with the online registration.

If your student is interested in joining one of our activities, sign up will be completed at the first meeting for that particular activity/club. Sign up will NOT be done online.

All sports/clubs require a $25 participation fee. This fee is charged AFTER the sport/club begins and is due within two weeks of that start date.

To learn more about athletic and activity offerings, please click HERE. Additional information about start up dates, meetings, practices, etc. for all sports/clubs will be shared in the weekly bulletin and updated on the website throughout the year.
