America's Safe Schools Week
Oct 16-22, 2022: Rippon's Safety Protocols
School Safety at Rippon
Greetings Raider Family,
I am happy to present this newsletter in honor of America's Safe School Week celebrated from Oct. 16-22, 2022. I heard a video today that said that if a student does not feel safe, then he/she can't learn. I took that to heart and I'm thrilled to see the many changes that have been installed for the protection of our Raider family.
Our new Principal Ms. Donahue, has certainly made some new changes. We have certainly felt a tremendous shift in safety at Rippon. I have been here for 18 years, and I can see the transformation that we are part of now. As a parent, I also worried every day for my child and I hoped that the school where she attended would have safety plans in place and active protocols when dealing with any crisis. Well, I'm happy to report that all of those elements are in place here at Rippon!
Here are some of the new and updated things that have been put into place this current school year.
