All about Mrs. Lee’s class!

All the kids are WONDERFUL! The class is so welcoming! Most of the class is gamers or artists either way they are all loyal! If you ever come to our classroom it will be filled with joy! At the end of the day sometimes we play-heads-up-7-up or Kahoot!
Math
We're going to do subtracting and adding from 10,000-1,000,000. We’re working on using the expanded form, number lines, splitting, and base ten. And not using the traditional algorithm. We’re right now doing 1,000-1,0000 in subtracting and adding.
Writing

This year our class has been studying natural disasters, an dangers that could happen to our world. We spend time researching before we begin writing and creating books. We try to have 5-7 sentences in are paragraphs to make our writing look better. We focus on one topic and
Make subtopics. We use rubrics to check our work.
Wednesday we do writing in the wild! It's when we get to write anything or use Book Creator, an app where we get to create books about anything!
Reading
In our class reading can be done in many ways. like jotting, researching, and working on getting to a higher level on reading. We do independent reading. We got a lot about nonfiction. We like fiction a lot. On Friday we read on epic any book we wanted. Now we are researching about natural disasters. Earthquake Terror is the best book Ms. Lee read to us in 2022.
