Keeping Beaumont families safe and engaged
Good morning and Happy St. Patrick's Day
These are unprecedented times and I want to first of all, thank everyone for the unbelievable support that families have given our school and district in these last few days. Beaumont staff is absolutely amazing and we will do all that we can to support families at home. Although we are practicing physical distancing for safety purposes, it is important that we do not distance ourselves socially. Please use the online resources that teachers are pushing out for communication. I have asked my staff to be creative and as parents, I encourage you to partake in some of the virtual activity suggestions.
I know this can be difficult times for many families. However, please remember that this is not a "vacation" for students. We are encouraging you not to have play dates face to face and avoid public areas as much as possible. We ALL want to get back to school as soon as possible and we all need to do our part to make sure that it happens.
All teachers and myself are also working from home. With that being said, we are readily available to you during normal school hours. PLEASE reach out to your teachers (or me!) if you have questions, need suggestions, or just have concerns that you want to talk through with one of us. Our school social worker, Jaquelyn Bell, is also available for you if you have questions, concerns, or need strategies to use at home. Her email is:
If your student has intervention or special education services, teachers will also be in touch with you about how to support you at home.
Follow us on Facebook at Beaumont Team for sharing of resources!
One of the main things we can all do is stay positive! Our children will take our lead on how they react to this crisis. If we stay calm and keep a positive attitude, they will do the same. This time will not be easy, but together, as a (virtual) family, I know that we can get through this. I am proud to lead this team and community! Thank you for all you do!
