Divergent Celebration
RFMS Media Center celebrated the movie release of the Divergent film on March 19th by engaging students in an after school program of crafts, games and prizes. All of the activities were based on the characterstics of the factions from Veronica Roth's book.

Black Eyed Susan Reading Program
Each year the Black-Eyed Susan Book Award honors outstanding young adult literature by presenting an award to a book selected by Maryland students. The purpose of this award is to promote good reading habits and a lifelong appreciation of literature by encouraging students to read quality contemporary literature. Students must read three of the ten nominated books to vote at the end of the school year.
19 students were eligible to vote this year! The RFMS media center celebrated our readers and the BES voting with a pizza party on March 25th.

- 3,303 circulated materials in Q3. This is a 25% increase from last year!
