Pennies for Patients Results

Sending out a huge THANK YOU to all the students and families that donated to our "Pennies for Patients" program!


We successfully raised $4,153.50 to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society! Congratulations to our top 3 classes who raised the most-

Student Banking Day - February 11th

HSA Katy has partnered up with Advancial Credit Union to help students learn the importance of saving for the future. Students can create an account online with the help of an adult and then deposit money into it. Advancial representatives will be on campus once a month for deposit days. Students can bring their money to school and have their money deposited that day. Simple as that! If you're interested in creating an account, click here. The campus deposit day will be Tuesday, February 11th from 10:30-11:30 am.

Autism Awareness Shirts On Sale Now


Autism Awareness takes place in the month of April.


On April 2nd, 2020 HSA Katy plans to “Light It Up Blue” to help bring awareness to our school. We are encouraging everyone to purchase a T-Shirt and wear it on this day along with jeans and on Fridays throughout the month of April to show support.


All orders must be submitted with payment by Friday, February 28th.

Open Lunch - Friday, February 7th

We understand that parents love the opportunity to have lunch with their students. This is why once a month you will be able to join your child to lunch! The open Friday this month for parents to attend lunch will be this Friday, February 7th. Please make sure to stop by the front office to sign in with your ID. No one is allowed to enter the cafeteria without first signing in at the front office. Thank you for your cooperation!

GATE Referrals Ending Soon!

In accordance with the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students, Harmony Public Schools will begin taking referrals for all interested students in grades K-12 for Gifted and Talented (G/T) screening.


Anyone interested in the educational welfare of these students may nominate them for assessment. Students in grades 2 & up who were tested in Fall 2019 are not eligible to test in Spring 2020. Referral forms are available at the front office and on the school’s website.

The referral forms must be returned to the front office by Friday, February 7, 2020. The Spring GT testing window is set by the campus in February or March. Campuses may elect to use NWEA MAP scores as a prescreening criterion for GT Testing.

Day of Dyslexia - February 8th

Please join us for an informational meeting about Dyslexia on February 8th, 2020 from 10 AM-12 PM. This event will include activities and information provided by Dyslexia teachers at Harmony. Click here for more information.

Migrant Family Survey

Located in your student's Skyward account, there is a survey called the "Migrant Family Survey." This survey is a requirement by the Texas Education Agency to be completed every year. This survey is only three questions. If you have not completed this, please do so as soon as possible.
