Message from the Mill
December 2021
A Message from the Principal
Dear Puckett's Mill Families,
It is hard to believe that December is upon us with all of the excitement that the season brings. It is a busy time of year with the hustle and bustle of shopping, visiting and traveling to see family and friends. Family traditions are priceless and leave a lasting impression on your children as they enjoy the time that you are able to spend together.
Life at school is also busy as we are concluding the first semester of the 2021-2022 school year. Please take time to encourage your student to finish strong! We want every students' first semester grades to reflect all that they have learned.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff, students, and parents for their continued support. Our school is truly a community school and it is such an honor to be a part of this close-knit culture. We all know the challenges of 2021. I am hopeful that the New Year will bring everyone health, happiness, and new learning experiences.
I wish you all Peace, Joy, Hope and Happiness during this Holiday season.
Sincerely,
Lisa Rhodes

Cafeteria Visitors
Parent Lunch Visitors will be welcome in the cafeteria beginning November 29th. Please adhere to the following guidelines:
- We will have one table designated for parents. The table is located in the back left corner of the cafeteria. Once that table is full, we will have limited options for additional seating and request that parents consider coming on a different day.
Visitors should sign-in at the front office and must be listed on the student's contact list.
We will only be able to accommodate one guest per student (no siblings or additional guests).
Visitors will need to leave campus at the conclusion of the lunch period so that we are maintaining safety.
When your student's class is dismissed to line up, your student must also line up with their class.
Please avoid party days (December 15, 16, & 17).
Food from restaurants/fast food is discouraged.
Adult meals are $3.75 and we ask that you try to bring exact change. Due to possible supply shortages, a full adult salad/entree bar may not be available.
We will continue to offer parents the opportunity to visit for lunch as long as we are safely able to do so. We will continue to follow safety guidance as usual. We look forward to seeing you!
