Parents

Please make sure you are calling parents and setting up meetings regarding academics and behavior. The support of home is the best ally we have in education.

Reality of the Season

Please be sensitive to the needs of our students, especially during this season. It is amazing the number of students we have who have already experienced the loss of a parent this young in life. Most of them have not had counseling or assistance in facing their grief. It is also stressful to many of our students whom depend on us for 2 warm meals a day. That will resonate with many of them of the next several days. What we spend the next 2 weeks looking forward to is the very thing that causes our students and their parents stress. So take a breath. Be patient. Listen before you react.

If You Are Not on Hall Duty During Class Change and Dismissal You Are Not Doing Your Part.

We have 800 students who need direction. They need your continued assistance in moving them along, moving them in the proper direction and being where they are supposed to be.

IF A STUDENT'S MODE OF TRANSPORTATION HOME HAS NOT BEEN CALLED, THEY HAVE NO BUSINESS IN THE HALLWAYS. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW THEY GET HOME AND CAN'T MONITOR THIS, YOU AND YOUR TEAM NEED TO FIGURE IT OUT HOW IT CAN WORK. immediately
