Steve King

Steve King was born, May 28, 1949. He is the U.S. representative for Iowa's 4th congressional district, serving since 2003.

In 1967 he attended Northwest Missouri State University until 1970. He wanted to be a wildlife officer. He grew up in Storm Lake Iowa and went to high school there where he met Marilyn Kelly. Later in 1972 he married her and they moved to Kiron and lived there for 38 years.

They have three grown sons and five grandchildren.

He is motivated to be in congress to abolish the IRS and replace the fedral income tax.

He was elected in 2002 to represent Iowa's new 5th congressional district. He has long been dedicated to adding value to the corn as much as posible. He has been in congress for ten years.
