BUILD 360 Newsletter
WELCOME TO THE NEW “BUILD” 360°
Dear BMHS Football Family,
We are excited to announce that 2021 marks the new beginning and “BUILD” for the Purple Knights Football Program! As a staff, we are committed to BUILDing an improved BMHS football culture of family, trust, and unity between our coaching staff, athletes, parents, and community members. Football is so much more than a game. Football provides an outlet and an opportunity for student athletes to push themselves outside of their comfort zone and to learn about their strengths, weaknesses, will, and abilities. We have high expectations for our football community and know that when we all work together and are committed, we will reach our goals. To make our football community the most impactful, it will take a 360° mindset from the coaching staff, athletes, and parents.
Below are the 5 core values that will “BUILD” the foundation for our new and improved BMHS Football Program. Our staff will model and instill the following core “BUILD” values into everything we do as a uKNIGHTed team, both on and off of the football field.
The BMHS Football "BUILD” 360°
Believe - We will put forth our maximum effort and trust the process that our results are created by our daily choices. This belief will make us resilient and relentless in the face of any adversity.
uKNIGHTed - We are uKNIGHTing to create an organization that is larger than ourselves. Each player must commit fully to serve the program, our school, families, and our community to the best of their ability.
Integrity - We will use the time spent together as an opportunity to teach and model brotherhood, integrity, and sportsmanship. Our student athletes will be held to the highest standards at all times.
Love- We will all uKNIGHT, with our diverse backgrounds and skill sets for the common goal. We will learn to value our differences, respect and care for one another, more than achieving our own personal accolades.
Discipline - Our student athletes will be pushed outside of their comfort zones, asked to overcome adversity, and pushed to persevere with relentless effort.
These 5 core values will be modeled by our coaching staff and instilled in your student athlete each and every day. Peak performance requires everyone, from the coaching staff to the parents, and most of all, the players to do their part—no matter how big or small. We are anticipating a successful season with our student athletes connected to our BMHS community, supported by their brothers and coaches, and confident to overcome challenges. LET’S GO KNIGHTS!
