CHS DANCE CLUB

Dance Club takes place after school on Thursdays from 2:20-3:20! It's so much fun, you learn combos every Thursday. Dance Club is a very good experience if you can't fit it on your schedule but you're interested in dancing! It absolutely doesn't matter what level of dancing you are in you're welcomed. Dance Club is such a safe environment so there's no need to be worried about being judged. Lastly, Dance Club gets to perform in the Dance Concert along with all the dance classes. We hope to see everyone there, don't hesitate to show up!

HOMECOMING PARADE COMMITTEE

The annual Combs High School Homecoming has grown over the years and the community always looks forward to seeing: floats and vehicles featuring local Police & Firefighters, area business owners, student clubs/athletes, the CHS Marching Band, the 2021 Homecoming Court, and much more.

This year’s activities are quickly approaching! The Homecoming Parade is looking for new committee members to help organize and plan for 2021. If you are interested in helping to continue and grow this special event please contact Mr. Laliberte at rlaliberte@jocombs.org

or Dr. Nelson at dnelson@jocombs.org.

COUNSELORS CORNER

Did you know??? Counselors met with Seniors this week to go over credits, graduation, and post secondary plans. Students received a copy of their transcripts and had a chance to ask questions and voice concerns. If you have a senior, make sure you check in with them and have them give you a summary of their meeting.

Did you know??? Anxiety in students is skyrocketing and can make a day at school difficult. The counseling office has several ways to help students who are struggling like time in the Zen Den, time with a counselor or the social worker to talk, and mindful breathing exercises. If you would like to know more about how to help your student at home, please contact your student's counselor. Helpful information will also be shared on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media outlets, so keep your eyes open!
