CAMP INVENTION

Camp Invention was a huge success last summer and we are proud to announce that our 2nd annual camp will be at Stewart Creek Elementary from June 20 - 23. Campers will team up to take on fun, hands-on STEM challenges. From creating a habitat for a robotic fish to constructing Spacepacks and Astro-Arm devices, mining asteroids, combining science and art to build their own robotic artists with spinart to experimenting with the fun of physics and engineering to build their own mega marble arcades. Camp Invention is designed for all students; however, our district is advertising to our GT and higher learners. Any student can register and attend.

“Under the Governor’s latest Executive Order GA-38, the district may not mandate the use of masks and face coverings. Masks will continue to be optional. We will make as many accommodations as possible to ensure that students who do choose to wear a mask feel safe on campus. For example, upon request and whenever possible, we will accommodate a student’s request to be grouped with other students wearing a mask in the classroom setting. Additionally, students may choose to opt out of campus-wide events, like pep rallies. If you wish to make these requests, please contact your child’s campus.”
