Welcome, Concrete Town Residents!
The Library Annexation vote passed! We proudly welcome Concrete Town Residents to the library district. The district boundaries are the Concrete School District but now everyone living within Concrete city limits are included in the district.
Come in and fill out an application, get your new card and begin checking out library materials immediately. Our staff is here to answer any questions and show you around. You now have access to thousands of library materials: books, magazines, audiobooks, DVDs, e-books, e-audiobooks, and reciprocal borrowing privileges for 6 other libraries in Skagit County. Plus, computer and WiFi access.

Upper Skagit Writes Open Mic
Celebrate the writing challenge completion at Upper Skagit Writes Open Mic, December 3, 5p - 6p at the library. Thank you for participating in Upper Skagit Writes, our November writing challenge. Participants were able to develop and connect to their own work through this project. Come share what this project inspired you to create. We hope you keep writing. Write on!
Winter Food & Book Drive
Give to your community this holiday season. Now through December 15 the library will accept nonperishable non-expired food items and gently used children’s/teens books. Drop off items at the library during open hours. The items will be donated to the Concrete and Marblemount Food Banks for the Christmas holiday. Alternate drop off location, 5b's Bakery.

Story Snowflake Event
Learn how to make “Story Snowflakes” on Craft Friday December 4, 6pm, 5b’s Bakery. Library Director, Brooke Pederson, would like to share her passion of making stories from cutting intricate snowflakes. This is a timely and fun craft to learn for the holiday season. Free event, all materials are provided, open to all ages.
