One-Act Play Finishes Amazing Season
Carlin Clark received Honorable Mention All-Star Cast and Jackson Barnes was named Best Performer. Both students helped AHS earn Region Academic points.
We Built A (Virtual) Zoo!
Just like this entire year, AISD teachers have been very creative in adopting new ways to continue providing exceptional learning experiences for Eagle students. Hilltop Elementary kindergarten teachers brought a fun and interactive virtual zoo to their students this week in their classrooms and hallway.
AHS UNICEF Club Kicks Off Water Month Campaign!
Last year, UNICEF helped 39 million people gain access to safe water, reached 7,100 schools with water and hygiene facilities, brought safe water to 1,600 health clinics and hospitals and provided 22 million people with basic toilets.
This month the AHS UNICEF Club is raising awareness and funds to provide innovative solutions like solar pumps, wells, and WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) facilities to children all over the world.

Off To The Races: West Elementary Teacher Honored
She is an avid Indy race fan and is being highlighted for her dedication in the classroom and community. Representatives from CoServ treated her with a gift basket and tickets to the Indy race in May. Belokin teaches third grade at West.

EARLY VOTING BEGINS MONDAY, APRIL 19
In Place 4, the ballot includes incumbent Ritchie Deffenbaugh and Phyllis Clark. Place 5 incumbent Dr. Leona McDade is running unopposed on the ballot. The video below is a virtual candidate forum for Place 4. The guest moderator is Argyle High School's Billy Mykel.

Eagle Wrestlers Ready For Regionals!
The four regional qualifiers include:
Zach Eades, Sophomore - 120 lbs (district runner-up)
Cullen Davee, Senior - 170 lbs (district champion)
Jax Ernest, Junior - 182 lbs (district champion)
Trenton Kelly, Junior - 220 lbs (district champion)
The regional competition will be held at Prosper's Rock Hill High School, located at 16061 Coit Rd. in Frisco. The start time on both days is 9 a.m. and all tickets are sold online. Click here for tickets on Friday. Click here for tickets on Saturday.

Track & Field Athletes Shine at Area Competition
More success followed for the qualifiers as the Eagles and Lady Eagles won area titles. The Eagles qualified 20 athletes for the regional track meet in Lubbock next week. The Eagles qualified in 15 of 17 events.
For the Lady Eagles, the big news came in the form of two long-standing school records in the 4x100 (Sarah Runyon, Savannah Underwood, Kiera Inman & Trinity Carter) and 300 hurdles (Courtney Schleder).
Whataplayer! Tucker Selected to Whataburger Super Team
Tucker will soon head to Texas Tech, where he has signed to play next fall.
