November News
I find it hard to believe that November is just around the corner. The year is moving along. As I walk through the halls I am so amazed at how much progress the students have made so far this year. It is fun to see all the kids enjoying school and learning.
The weather has been a bit crazy lately, but seems to maybe have settled down into Fall weather. Please remind your students, that if they wear a coat to school, they need to bring it back home at the end of the day. When it warms up at recess time, students have a tendency to leave their coats outside. We have a number of very nice jackets in our lost and found. I am putting a couple of tables out so make sure your child looks for missing items.
A reminder, we send students outside even when it cools down. They need to be dressed for the weather. Kids go outside unless the weather is below 20 degrees. This includes wind chill as well. If your child is in need of a coat, please let the office know. We have had some donations of new or slightly used coats, that we keep just for this reason. We are happy to help.
Please look over the newsletter as we have many events happening during the next month or so. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to contact the school and we would be happy to help you.
Sincerely,
Karen Wells

Change In Transportation Information for your child
Please be sure to let us know of any changes to the end of the day transportation for your child by calling the office (937)578-7100 by 3:00. Students don’t always tell us of changes and sometimes they are not sure. It helps us keep students safe when we know when changes come up.

We are asking your help with a couple of things.
- We have had a number of students coming to school and pretending to be various scary characters from movies or video games. They are also acting like they are killing or shooting other kids. Unfortunately, this is very scary to some of our students. Please remind your students that they don't need to talk about scary things at school or act out movies and videos here at school This would really help us. Thank you for your support.
- When you are driving by the school during dismissal or pick up times, please be aware that we have a lot of students who are walking. Drive slowly and don't pass other cars while on Creekview Drive. I don't want to see anyone get hurt or hear about any accidents in the neighborhood from careless driving. Thank you for helping with everyone's safety.
