From the Principal
Nice weather definitely helps make everything better these days. This week had lots of opportunities for in-person students to get outside for breaks, learn with the class or during PE. Although a short week, there was lots of activity and excitement in the air. As we look to next week, the weather might change throughout the week so make sure students are dressing in layers. Also, we have picture day on Monday and Friday. GOAL students have assigned times after school on one of the two days. Look below for more information.
A huge shout out to all who donated food to our Character Counts Food Drive. As a township we doubled the goal that was set, collecting over 20,000 food items. Thank you for your support!
As students get more comfortable at school, we are doing our best to make sure that comfort does not equate to a loosening of safety protocols we have put in place. Please continue to have conversations with students about the importance of wearing masks properly and staying six feet apart at all times. In addition, please continue to remember to do the self-assessments at home on days students come into the building. This helps our flow in the mornings tremendously.
I hope you enjoy the beautiful weather and have an amazing weekend.
Go Bears!
Jason Kaiz
