Pygmy Seahorses live in coral reefs in the tropical western pacific around Indonesia, Japan, New Caledonia, Australia, (Queensland), Papa New Guinea, and the Philippines. They also live in the Coral Triangle in Asia.

Are they bigger than your finger?

A Pygmy Seahorse can be as tall as 1.4 -2.7 centimeters long from the tip of the snout to the tip of the tail. They can be less than 2 centimeters (0.79) inches in height. Did you know that a Pygmy Seahorse could be an inch or bigger? They rarely grow over one inch.

How cute they really are

Baby Pygmy Seahorses are actually a lot cuter than adult Pygmy Seahorses. They are way smaller than their parent sand they may also be harder to find than their parents. If you think adult Pygmy Seahorses are hard to find, then you'll probably get frustrated and give up because you probably won't be able to find them.
