LPS Weekly Newsletter ~ 5/26/2023
Message From The Principal
Dear LPS Families,
On behalf of the entire LPS staff, thank you for sharing your child with us this year. We have enjoyed every minute learning and growing together! Your children are simply amazing and we've been blessed to be a part of their lives.
As you move into summer, I'd like to encourage you to check out the free events being offered by Loveland Learning Garden (see below). Bring your kids to the garden or nature trail to see what's growing and to explore outdoors. Also don't forget to keep your Tiger reading this summer! We will be hosting a summer book exchange program and the Loveland Public Library has great summer reading programs too. Listening to adult readers has a positive impact on developing our young readers so enjoy all those bedtime stories over the summer!
I hope that all of our LPS families, staff, and students can take a break this summer, rejuvenate, and reconnect with family and friends. Have an awesome summer and we will see our Tigers back in August!
Sincerely,
Kevin Fancher

Growing With The Loveland Learning Garden
Spring veggies are ready to eat! Some classes helped harvest lettuce, radish, arugula and spinach and had a little taste along the way! Students planted these crops from seed in early April and are seeing the fruits of their labor. After weighing and recording their harvest, one class then delivered the food to LIFE food pantry! Did you know that Loveland Learning Garden has donated over 2200 lbs of fresh produce to LIFE Food pantry over the last 3 seasons and we are already up to 50 lbs this year?
