"This is one small step for man, but one giant leap for man kind," is a quote still remembered today for all of the courage and hard work it took to complete one goal, to get to the moon.
Early Life
He was born as regular kid having a dream of flying and touching the surface of the moon. He started flying in dangerous missions when he was 20 years old.
Middle LIfe
Neil was a research pilot and tested the X-15 7 times. At 9:32 A.M. on July 16th, 1969 was the launch of Apollo 11. On that mission was the landing on the moon and the first time ever for man to touch the moon.
End Life
After coming back from the moon the astronauts and their wives embarked on a 3 day parade threw New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. Neil was awarded with the highest US civilian award. He sadly died on August 25th, 2012 at the age of 82.
