Nike's Name

----------How Did Nike Get It's Name----------

Nike's Relation to Greek Mythology

The company Nike was named after the Greek Goddess who personified victory. She was also the goddess of speed and strength. The company sells athletic gear and athletes usually have those qualities. The company's logo, "swoosh" has more of an indirect connection with Nike. She was known for swooping in out of nowhere, which I thought was a weird connection.
