Web 2.0 Tool of the Week

TimeToast

Timetoast allows people to create interactive timelines, which they can share

anywhere on the web. Anyone can join Timetoast and start creating and

sharing their own timelines, all they need is a valid email address. It's

completely free! Create timelines with images, dates, and descriptive details in

an easy to builder. The timelines can be private or published for the public to

see.

Technology Tip of the Week

I can look up an address on my computer and by the time I get to the car I have forgotten it. Google Maps can text an address to your phone, here is how:

Here’s how it works:

1.Go to: www.google.com/maps

2.Find the desired address.

3.Click the placemark to open the

description.

4.Click the Send link on botton right

(click “more if you don’t see it.)

5.In the “Send” window:

a.Choose to include the address.

b.Enter your phone number.

c.Select your carrier.

d.Click the send button.

Within a few seconds you should

receive a text message on your cell

phone that shows the address! Pretty

cool, huh?
