NGC Reminders
It has been an amazing start to the school year. We love our students and know that by working together as a team with you, it will be productive, fun, and successful for the Class of 2027!
House Bill 114
States the conditions under which a student may be either removed from class and placed in a disciplinary alternative education program, or expelled from a school for the possession, use, or delivery of marijuana or e-cigarettes on or near a public school property or at certain school events.
Due to the new law, there have been updates to the WISD Student Code of Conduct regarding the possession of vapes in schools. House Bill 114, adopted by the state, requires school districts to send students who are in possession of or use vapes, whether THC or Nicotine, to DAEP (Bridge). Vapes containing THC (marijuana), in addition to being a mandatory placement, can result in a felony arrest.
Kangaroo Stadium Rules
NGC/WHS Dress Code:

Students will receive a new ID card each school year. While every student's first ID card is provided at no cost, we will maintain the policy of a $5 replacement fee to be charged for any damaged or lost cards.
