We will have a reverse bell schedule on both Wednesday 4/10 and Wednesday 4/17.

Start and end times stay the same, but students will begin the day in their fourth period class and end the day with period 1.

Juniors will be taking the English Language Arts Smarter Balanced Assessment next week on Tuesday and Wednesday in the morning. Students should report to their testing locations in the morning (testing locations are posted on the library windows). We encourage all students to bring headphones for the testing, but we do have headphones available if needed.

AP Testing will run from May 6th-17th, and we are looking for parent volunteers who can assist with administering exams. Every parent who volunteers essentially saves the school $160--funds that can be distributed back into the classroom. Each day, two separate exams are administered; the first is from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., and the second from 12:00p.m.-4:00 p.m. If you are able to volunteer on any day(s), please contact Zein Stearman (zeinsleiman-stearman@vistausd.org), AP Coordinator, and let her know when you are available.

COCOA AND CRAM FOR AP TESTING

AP Testing begins next month, and AP Review sessions for many of courses will be held in the coming weeks. Please see this link for details about when specific review sessions are being held.

One is awarded to a student pursuing Arts & Communications and the other is for Applied Science and Technology - and it's not required for the student to be college bound. To be eligible, the student (not the parents) must be a current member of the MVHS PTSA with at least 30 days' tenure - so the time to join PTSA is NOW, if your student hasn't already.
