2021 Fair Books are HERE!

Thank you to the York County Ag Society for providing this opportunity!

FAIR LIVESTOCK INFORMATION
- Again this year, all exhibitors will be responsible for submitting their animal information into the livestock database online themselves PRIOR to the DNA deadline, June 15th. Exhibitors showing market beef at State Fair must have a signed and sealed official DNA collector with hair samples for DNA verification turned into their county office and have completed the online nomination (www.showstockmgr.com) along with submitting payment online by the June 15th deadline. It is recommended that you make a copy or a photo image of the completed envelop you turn into your county, as you will be the one verifying all information is correct.
- You are allowed to nominate a Heifer for Market and Breeding, provided all online nominations have been completed. You will just have to make the final decision by the August 10th deadline.
- County Fair only Market beef will need to purchase an 840 EID tag ($3) from the extension Office and fill out a COunty ID form.
- Reminder any animal carrying an 840 EID tag will require the exhibitor to obtain a Premises ID. Contact the Extension Office for details.
MANDATORY for showing animals!
The deadline to complete this training is JUNE 15th!
This training can be completed online; information on how to sign up and complete can be found at https://4h.unl.edu/yqca-instructions. You can complete the online training at any time that is convenient to you. The cost of the training is $12 online. Please forward all questions to the office at (402) 362-5508.
