3rd Grade Happenings
Thursday, November 29, 2018
3rd graders went to the Kiwanis this month to share their animal projects and trip with them!
We played a Thanksgiving Crack the Code game before Thanksgiving! The kids were able to figure it out successfully!
The Science Museum of Minnesota came to school to share a presentation on Energy with the students. They all got a chance to power light bulbs with the bike. Ask your child about this!
Our Holiday Party...
This year, I will be purchasing gifts for all the students using our class fund. They will be small and inexpensive, but none-the-less, something. I will have the students draw a classmate's name and they will have to pick out a present for that student and make them a card to go along with it. We will work on this during class the last week we are in class before the holiday break. On Friday, we will be exchanging gifts and opening them in class. This way, no one needs to shop or worry about getting anything. I would, however, ask if you wanted to get something, that you donate food items for our local food shelf. We will get them there on Friday. Happy Holidays!
