Benninghoven Family Newsletter

Week of Nov. 29th

Vision: A place where everyone pursues their greatness.

Mission: A community coming together for our kids.

Knight Families,

What a wonderful last full week of November we had at Benninghoven! Dr. Hubbard, our Superintendent came to be a Mystery Reader in Pre-K, 3rd grade students were able to showcase a music performance for families on Thursday night, and families ended the week with pies for every staff member for Staff Appreciation!

Thank you so much to all of. you for the work and dedication you provide to students and our team each day! We could not be successful without the part that you play!

With that said, I hope that you all are able to enjoy the Fall Break and some extra time with family. This has been a semester so far that has been challenging in many ways. However, I hope we each take time to reflect on the things we are GRATEFUL for. I, for one and thankful for the connections that are beginning to once again occur. We are working to create more of these opportunities so that students, teachers, and families thrive at the highest level!

Have a wonderful week off. Be safe, relax, and refresh!

All the best,

Anna Jensen, Principal

Books and Blankets Project

Benninghoven is excited to do our annual Books & Blankets Project again this year! The goal of this project is to ensure that all students have access to reading material at home over winter break. Items are collected to create bags containing a bundle of books, a warm cuddly blanket, a stuffed animal, flashlight, fuzzy socks or slippers, and some treats. Bags are distributed to students within our Benninghoven community. Please see specific instructions for each item below and put items in the "Books & Blankets" bin by the office by THURSDAY, DECEMBER 2. Student Council will be sorting, organizing, and assembling the bags as their December project and they will be sent home with students prior to winter break.
