Staff Stuff
Why do the short weeks seem the longest? We have two weeks left until the end of the first quarter and the start of the second. It's an exciting time of year as the weather is starting to change, football is in full swing, and the Dodgers are in the playoffs. Hopefully they can finish what they almost accomplished last year!
As we near the end of the first quarter, thank you for all of your efforts on behalf of our students, particularly those that need extra attention. As our numbers grow and the diverse needs of our students increase, our jobs continue to become more challenging. I appreciate all of your hard work. Hopefully you are able to relax and spend time with family and friends these next couple of days.
Have a great weekend!

Manufacturing Day
Rick Wormeli PD Opportunity
Rick Wormeli, leading expert on Differentiation, will be providing a two-day professional development for interested Hart District teachers on January 10 and 11, the last two days of winter break. This is a unique opportunity to learn from him directly. Attendees will be provided a copy of his latest book, Fair Isn't Always Equal. Each day’s session will be from 8:00 to 3:00, with breakfast snacks provided, and an hour break for lunch. Teachers will not be paid to attend these days -- participation is completely voluntary. If you are interested, please let me know as soon as possible so I can submit your name and reserve your spot!
